Leaving the cocktail party of plant walks and sitting down to chat.

Boozhoo - I wanted to get this one out today to balance out the plant walk flyer. This year we will offer 2 ways to get to know our plant relatives. I love plant walks and it is fun to see the plants in their habitats but seeing so many plants at one time doesn’t give you much time to really get to know them. I think of it as meeting lots of people at a party where you try to remember their names and maybe a little something about them for the future. It is a lot to take in. The best way to learn about plants is by spending time with them. We are going to offer you a chance to deepen your relationship by taking deep dives.

We are going to explore as many aspects of each plant as we can. I believe that learning from your heart can really deepen a relationship. How do we learn through our hearts? You begin by connecting to all of your senses - taste, smell, sight, hearing, touch and our 6th sense ESP. So, we will engage all these senses and also give our brains something to work on. We will be sharing lots of samples of different aspects of these plants so you will have momentos to help you remember your new connections. I really think this will be a lot of fun and hope to see you there.
